Automotive Hall Of Fame To Induct Jack Roush
Jack Roush, NASCAR team-owner and automotive mogul, this year will be inducted into the Automotive Hall of Fame. He is already a part of the International Motorsports Hall of Fame and the Michigan Sports Hall of Fame. The year 2017 marks the 50th anniversary of the Automotive Hall of Fame. Jack Roush is considered the most successful stock-car racing team owner in the history of the sport, his teams having won more than 400 races in NASCAR. "Each made his unique vision a reality through tenacity, creativity and forward thinking," said Automotive Hall of Fame President William Chapin in a statement: "traits that still drive the industry's evolution today."Roush Enterprises – Jack Roush's namesake company – is the parent of Roush Racing, as well as engineering firm Roush Industries, alternative-fuel outfit Roush CleanTech, and of course, aftermarket performance company Roush Performance.NEW DELHI: Edward Welburn , former design head of American automaker General Motors , is going to enter the Automotive Hall of Fame . Alberto has served in various roles at Brembo since its inception.The Automotive Hall of Fame 2017 induction ceremony is going to be held on July 20. Brembo was founded by Alberto's father, Emilio Bombassei, and his uncle, Italo Breda. Welburn was the sixth head of design for General Motors and the first to lead the division on a global level.During Welburn's 44-year career, he oversaw the designs of the latest Corvette and the revived Camaro, as well as groundbreaking concepts including the Oldsmobile Aerotech, Cadillac Ciel, and Buick Avista.Apart from Welburn, Alberto Bombassei , Chairman and President of Italian manufacturer of automotive brake systems Brembo will also inducted in the Hall of Fame.
